Verdict Fujifsu components in this machine are good quality, but there simply isn’t space for high performance parts. But that’s not to say it’s unfashionable: Unlike a touch screen, the Tablet PC screen only receives information from this special pen.

The tiny size comes at a premium, but when judged against other similar systems it’s reasonably priced. The mousing controller is a trackball, while the mousing buttons include a “scrolling” key which turns on page scroll and is manipulated with the trackball.

The only problem we can find with this lifebpok is that the notebook gets hotter than most of its size, so if your carting it around in your hands all day it may get uncomfortable.

As with most hybrid technologies, however, the LifeBook P forces you to make some compromises: The best video-editing apps. A scarcity of internal space denies the possibility of an internal optical drive, but you can always plug a drive into one of the two USB ports. Remember that a double capacity battery pack is available.
